The Z increment between deposited or cured slices. It sets stair-stepping on sloped surfaces and print time in direct inverse proportion, and almost nothing else. It does not improve XY detail, which is fixed by nozzle width or pixel pitch — halve it and you double the hours while fine features stay exactly as coarse.
