1.3 Font Weight

Use regular to slightly bold font weights. Avoid fonts that are thin or that are heavy to black in weight. Light typefaces have generous counter spaces, however typically there is not enough contrast in the strokes to make them legible to users with low-vision. Fonts that are bold and black in weight have decreased counter spaces which tend to decrease their legibility.
