The screens built for UnitedHealthcare served medical coding and patient-registration workflows: data-dense dashboards where operators process case after case for a full shift, and where a mis-read field has consequences downstream.
The design work is the discipline this portfolio's essay on data-dense interfaces later distilled: tabular data that holds its columns, hierarchy carried by weight and space rather than decoration, disambiguated codes and identifiers, and layouts tuned to cut the operator's per-case seconds — at enterprise volume, seconds are the business case.
